Executive Board

John, the Chief Executive Officer and Type 1 diabetic, leads Diatech’s overall operations with a key focus on ensuring that Diatech’s technology is designed around the needs of a person with diabetes. His leadership, vision, and personal insight into diabetes care is crucial for Diatech’s successful development of patient focused technology.

Luis became intimately familiar with diabetes because of his grandmother and stepfather who were both long-time diabetics. At a young age, he knew he wanted to help people with this disease because of how hard it can be on people's families. Luis works to craft Diatech’s ideas into physical form in hopes of changing the lives of patients and families through personalized technology and healthcare innovation.

Nicholas works to keep the company running on all fronts. His role in the company is revolved around internal operations, external communications and finances. He served on the executive board for two prominent engineering student organizations at the FAMU-FSU College of Engineering for several years where he honed his leadership, logistics, and comedic skills.

JC focuses on the validation and verification of Diatech’s products as it pertains to meeting compliance and consumer needs. JC helped form the research group exploring the deficiencies in CSII therapy, a project that would go on to become Diatech. During his tenure at Diatech, JC has worked as a production manager for a small Tallahassee based biotech manufacturer and currently serves on a committee for the Internationally Genetically Engineered Machines nonprofit.
