John, the Chief Executive Officer and Type 1 diabetic, leads Diatechs overall operations with a key focus on ensuring that Diatechs technology is designed around the needs of a person with diabetes. His leadership, vision, and personal insight into diabetes care is crucial for Diatechs successful development of patient focused technology.
Luis E. Blanco
Luis became intimately familiar with diabetes because of his grandmother and stepfather who were both long-time diabetics. At a young age, he knew he wanted to help people with this disease because of how hard it can be on people's families. Luis works to craft Diatechs ideas into physical form in hopes of changing the lives of patients and families through personalized technology and healthcare innovation.
Nicholas works to keep the company running on all fronts. His role in the company revolves around internal operations, external communications and finances. He served on the executive board for two prominent engineering student organizations at the FAMU-FSU College of Engineering for several years where he honed his leadership, logistics, and comedic skills.
John Clark Gray
JC focuses on the validation and verification of Diatechs products as it pertains to meeting compliance and consumer needs. JC helped form the research group exploring the deficiencies in CSII therapy, a project that would go on to become Diatech. During his tenure at Diatech, JC has worked as a production manager for a small Tallahassee based biotech manufacturer and currently serves on a committee for the Internationally Genetically Engineered Machines nonprofit.
